Casamontaña Andina
Located in
the Venezuelans Andes, with a privileged view of its highest peak: the majestic Pico Bolivar (4,978 mts /16,332 ft), Casamontaña Andina (Andean Mountain House) is a place you can visit
any time of the year to rest, to have a spiritual retreat or to find adventure exploring
the beauty of the Andes.
Whether you
come to practice and learn Heartfulness meditation using the Raja Yoga approach
or to visit off the beaten off-the-beaten paths of the Andes National Park, you
will find that Casamontaña Andina is
a special place to stay. Experience sustainable living practices while staying
in a house made with bio construction methods. Walk
through the mandala gardens learning about permaculture principles or
vermiculture. Pick you own fruits from the avocados (Persea americana),
oranges, limes, chachafruto (Erythrina edulis), and banana
trees (Musa paradisiaca) among others. Enjoy a healthy, wholesome breakfast.
Visitors and the surrounding community will also have access to a unique library
with a large amount of digital information (literature, music and films.)
The project will be
done in two stages:
First, the
main house (construction area: 103 mts2) will be built with adobe and
will have a green roof.
The second stage will be the meditation hall (construction
area: 50 mts2) which will be made with a adobe too and a carruzo (a type of bamboo)
and will have a green roof also.
The amount
required to finish the first stage of the project is approximately $4.000 / € 3.800.
With
you contribution you can come enjoy the stay with breakfast included and a tour
of your choosing. Introduction to Heartfulness meditation system is optional
and free.

Day 2: Fix the lines that define the foundations of the house.
Day 3: Continuation of fixing and installation of crossbars (guides for the placement of the wooden posts).
